Terms & Conditions
1. Booking and Payment
- All sessions must be booked and paid for in advance.
- A place is not guaranteed until full payment has been received.
- Payments are non-transferable unless agreed otherwise by PDSS.
- Prices may be reviewed and amended with reasonable notice.
2. Cancellation Policy
- Parent cancellations for camps made more than 48 hours before a session may be eligible for a credit or rescheduled session.
- No refunds or credits will be provided for camps for cancellations made within 48 hours of the session.
- Failure to attend a booked session without notice will result in the loss of that session.
- Sessions where payment is half-termly or termly fees are payable regardless of attendance.
- Missed sessions due to holidays, illness or personal commitments are not refundable.
3. Coach Cancellation
- If a session is cancelled by PDSS due to coach illness, adverse weather, venue issues, or other unforeseen circumstances, an alternative session, credit, or refund will be offered.
4. Medical Information
- Parents must disclose any relevant medical conditions, allergies, injuries, or additional support needs before participation.
- Parents are responsible for keeping medical information up to date.
- Coaches reserve the right to refuse participation if they believe a child’s health or safety may be at risk.
5. Emergency Treatment
- In the event of an emergency, parents authorise coaches to seek appropriate medical assistance for their child if they cannot be contacted immediately.
- Any associated medical costs remain the responsibility of the parent or guardian.
6. Behaviour and Conduct
- Players must treat coaches, staff, other players, parents, and facilities with respect.
- Bullying, abusive language, discrimination, aggressive behaviour, or repeated disruption will not be tolerated.
- PDSS reserves the right to remove a participant from a session or terminate their place without refund in cases of serious misconduct.
7. Parent Responsibilities
- Parents are responsible for ensuring their child arrives on time and is collected promptly after sessions.
- Parents must provide accurate contact details and ensure they remain current.
- Parents should ensure their child brings suitable clothing, footwear, shin pads, and water where required.
8. Photography and Video
- Photographs and videos may be taken during sessions for coaching, safeguarding, promotional, or social media purposes.
- Parents may opt out of marketing-related photography by notifying PDSS in writing.
9. Health and Safety
- Participants must follow all instructions given by coaches and staff.
- Players must wear appropriate footwear and any required safety equipment (shin pads).
- The company reserves the right to refuse participation if equipment or clothing is considered unsafe.
10. Liability
- Football coaching involves physical activity and carries an inherent risk of injury.
- While reasonable care will be taken to ensure participant safety, the company cannot accept liability for injuries sustained through normal participation in football activities, except where caused by negligence.
- Personal belongings are brought to sessions at the owner’s risk.
11. Adverse Weather
- Outdoor sessions may proceed in light rain or challenging weather conditions where it is safe to do so.
- The company reserves the right to cancel or relocate sessions if weather conditions present a safety risk.
12. Data Protection
- Personal information will be stored and processed in accordance with applicable UK data protection laws.
- Information will only be used for coaching, safeguarding, communication, and administrative purposes.
13. Safeguarding
- The welfare of children is the company’s highest priority.
- Any safeguarding concerns will be handled in accordance with the company’s safeguarding policy and relevant legal requirements.
14. Agreement
By booking and paying for sessions, parents/guardians confirm that:
- They have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
- The information they have provided is accurate.
- They consent to their child’s participation in football coaching activities.
